The frantic minutes raced by as Vivian made her fighter dance and slay any idiots that crosses her targeting reticle. While being aware of the furball, stray transient thought flickered up between spurts of intense action. Some were memories of happy times with Lilia, others were the more interesting missions with Hamakaze just after being paired up, and the rest were half formed fanasties involving Drake. 'I want happiness and if he can wring it out of my soul so be it.' she mused jinxing violently. "Multiple ICBMs inbound, time to impact is eighteen minutes. Repeat to impact is eighteen minutes." Cursing vehemently at the development she glanced around and clocked some of the more ranged stragglers begin to turn tail and bail. "Kerberus lead to Super Wasp, we can handle the rest from here. Bugout with your wing and tell Nyt Flame that he owes us one." Opting not reply to that comment Vivian broke away from the furball and firewalled the throttles. "Light Breeze on me, Heaven's rain is coming, time to bail and hook up with Nyt Flame." she called out.

A noise brought the soldier's head up, turning to look behind him. He clocked the armored Agidine glaring through his bloodied visor at his position. And would have call out, but the enraged pilot loosed every freaking everything he had at the unaware soldiers. "WRONG IDIOTS, THE ONLY ONES WALKING OUT OF HERE ARE ME AND MINE. EVERYONE ELSE CAN BURN IN HELL WITH THE OTHER PEA BRAINS! SAY HI TO SHOGUN FOR ME!" Agidine roared over the cacophony of micro missiles, bullets and blaster bolts.
Chitone instantly armored up and bolted from the dark cell, some how dancing through her father hellish bulletstorm to reach the stairs. As the SPEC OPS team trail behind her rapidly crawling under said storm to avoid the worst of it. Seeing that the objective had raced a head they choose to partially stealth and boot it after. 'Damn she can move for someone just out being held.' the leader thought. Catching up with Chitone, as she ducked behind a solid cover, the leader and men opened up in reply. Which allowed Chitone to push forward with his point man matching her. Tense minutes clicked away while they made steady process. Alternating between sprinting and brief firefights to clear a path for Chitone to snake through.
It was after one these interludes, just north of the main gate, that Chitone misstepped and took a powerful bolt to the shoulder for her troubles. And she knew, after taking brief moment check, that it would make piloting her Rhyno near impossible. "Frakking bastard." she grunts as the SPEC OPS man check what she did. "Lead, she can't pilot her fighter." "That's fine, we have someone who can at the exfil. Just make it so she can keep up. The rest can handle once Nyt Flame gets her back to wherever he departed from." "Roger that." Watching the man pull out an injector, Chitone looked away and asked while he inserted into an induction port near her neck, "How hard is that gonna make me crash?" "Like you have been hit with a truck, but you won't feel a thing." Feeling the injector's contents enter her system, Chitone shuts her eyes briefly as her injured shoulder went ulterly numb. 'On the clock.' she mused. "Got move, just heard that Heaven's rain is coming." Grunting Chitone broke from cover and books it through the gate letting the SPEC OPS team adjust her run to line up on the secordary airbase. Sparing a quick glance back she saw what had to be her dad finally rocket from the now burning base. 'Thank you dad.' she thought watching him pass above her.
Returning his gaze forward once he saw that Chitone was good for the moment, Agidine redlined his thrusters to beat the team and Chi to the unwrecked base. 'Wondered who called in the ICBMs' he wondered. Touching down Agidine and the other pilot ran through truncated check lists for both fighters. Once sure that both were ready, he dismissed the armor and climbed into the cockpit. At which time the rest finally arrived and helped Chitone into the Rhyno's rearseat. "You go ahead. I'll hardlocked on your six once airborne. Head to the following coordinates, should meet an tanker for the return trip en route." Agidine states. "Wilco." "Nyt Flame, make sure my man return undamaged." "Sure." he said as his daughter's Rhyno rolled on the runway. Following seconds later Agidine saw it race down and rose into the air. "Nearly done." Rising after the older fighter, he keyed up Vivian and said, "Mission accomplished, bailing." "Same."
