♩ APPEARANCE ♩

♠Height5'9
♠Weight150
♠Build Slim to Medium
♠Hair Color Obsidian
♠Eye Color Bloody Crimson
♠Scars/Tattoos/Piercings Julius has the classic pierced ears as far as piercings go. On the more elaborate end is tattoos, which cover his body. The majority of these tattoos are of various holy symbols of various faiths and cultures across history. Their arrangement is clearly done by design with an artful taste and with close inspection one can find a variety of magic circles concealed in the images... except on the hands where the circles are quite obvious. Even his face possesses tattooing, such as eight horns placed almost like a crown over his brows and a strange trident like mark in the center of his forehead. Perhaps the strangest part is he has no recollection of ever getting them.
♠Description Julius's appearance is certainly one that catches eyes, after all the sheer volume of tattoos that paint his unnaturally smooth skin would turn heads most anywhere. His features are also sharp to the point where he seems more of a mobile sculpture than a flesh and blood human being. The fact that his unpainted skin seems forever bronzed only serves to enhance the illusion. Even his hair seems to always fall the same way and seems to act in set patterns when moved. In truth he normally doesn't bother trying to style it but will do so on occasion. His eyes have a naturally vicious appearance due to more than their mere appearance of liquid fire...or blood. It's slight to the point of a lie but his pupils seem rather slit like and the orbs always seem to be ablaze even when Julio is calm.

♠Preferred Clothing
Almost as a form of modesty, Julius likes to dress up in plenty of layers. For example it's not uncommon for him to wear full length jeans, an under shirt, normal shirt and then a light jacket with long sleeves. Sometimes the clothes he grabs are close cut but usually he wears clothes than are a bit large on him resulting in a baggy or flowing appearance if the cuts just right. In terms of colors he'll go for strong shades such as crimson, rich purples, pristine whites and golds or deep black.

Image
♩ MENTALITY ♩

♠Oddities
Temper/Ego: While normally calm, Julius seems to have an uncontrollable temper when he himself is insulted. This also extends to things and people he values. The attitude adopted in those situations also shifts to extreme rudeness and highly melodramatic.

Ambition Possesses an overly strong desire to prove himself and always holds himself to unrealistically high standards. This desire drives him almost like a machine or a madman.

Memory Julius has a memory that's either highly selective or highly variable. By which he'll either remember things completely at irrelevant times or never remember things regardless of how much he wants to. In a day-to-day sense it means he is very good for asking Trivia, but pretty hopeless at functional things that occur everyday.

♠Skills
Fortune: Julius is lucky to the point of ridiculousness. In terms of misfortune, it's safe to say he's never experienced hardship of any form.

Charisma: Julius has an unnaturally strong type of charisma...to the point where it could be considered a curse. Fortunately it doesn't apply to people, but is exceedingly efficient for his studies as a Tamer.

Mimicry While it's rarely used, Julius is capable of copying everyday skills after seeing them once. It might be due to his obsessive nature picking up minor details and then simply performing it. This seems to be the case since he can't mimic something beyond is physical limits, or requires a skill he doesn't possess.

♠Likes Fineries: be it food, drink, music, or art Julius has a taste for the expensive and high quality. He also enjoys all the bustle of "high society" and people as a whole.
♠DislikesHard work- Julius will go to extremes to avoid having to genuinely do hard work...albeit his luck rarely requires effort on this front. More than anything he hates being bored...though it's a rather unpredictable occurrence.
♠Hobbies Rather than a hobby, it's safer to label it an obsession. Julius is always look for ways to summon more familiars both in quality and quantity than anyone else.

Image
♠Phobia(s) Atychiphobia, Decidophobia, Hemophobia
♠Sexuality Pansexual...Julius isn't one to deny the potential of pleasure in any form
♠Personality Julius is a very willful person. In fact he genuinely believes most everything comes down to having sufficient will and dedication to make something happen; he "demonstrates" this point by being very supportive of those who associate with him or ask for his help. His positive characteristics for the most part seem to end there. Beyond that he's highly ambitious and arrogant beyond reason, but short of being angry he's not exactly rude about it. One manifestation of this is his central belief of "I am me" and then basing his perception of reality on that one fact. Essentially the mind of he is undisputed fact while reality is variable and as such his actions are absolute fact. Quite naturally this leaves his thinking in terms of morality grossly lacking but strangely he's not an immoral person. His own answer being those with power and ability are the example and guardians of those beneath them.

Oddly enough though, he's always a willing participant in any form of pleasure or entertainment. This makes him a ready accomplice for most endeavors as a "connoisseur" of life's finer points. Whether it's his ego, bravery or genuine stupidity Julius seems to never be afraid. In fact his attitude is one of either in control or someone along for the ride but has been guaranteed entertainment. This manifests in him taking many risks without any apparent forethought and total lack of concern to most social strata. In his own words "everyone loves me...they just don't know it yet". However to anyone watching his attitude is entirely based on his own luck.

♩ BACKGROUND ♩

♠Relationship Status Single
♠Family Taken in by the church, views members as family.

Image
♠Personal History
As much as Julius's nonreligious behavior would suggest, he grew up in a church. As for how he got there, he never really knew or cared to ask, after all there were children his age to play with and the place was well managed- in short nothing to complain about. His own memory of that time is rather vague but all-in-all Julius remembers the place to be very well supervised. One thing he does remembers and has since become his obsession is stories of great Exorcists of the past. In particular individuals capable of controlling entire armies of familiars with seals long forgotten if they even existed at all.

To this end, Julius poured excessive amounts of time into studying into matters of seals and eventually in hopes of either finding or recreating a seal of such amazing power. Due to this, he spent very little time with the other kids and even with the staff in charge of the place. Perhaps the greatest event during that time was when it turned out he had the potential to be a Tamer. The occasion wasn't anything major, he just managed to order the pet familiar of one of the faculty. From there the faculty took a bit more interest but in truth nothing changed in terms of his daily routine. His studies did leave him within the top five of his class consistently until eventually he took it upon himself to move out. Scholarships managed to keep him on his feet until finally he enrolled in True Cross.

That being said, except for a slight change in curriculum things still haven't changed too much on the part of his life. He has however opened up a bit for something of a social life.

♩ OTHER ♩

♠Familiar
Controlling either familiar requires enough focus to render Julius into a sitting duck, he can't afford to not tunnel vision against the creatures he contracted since both are far beyond what a reasonable Tamer of his ability would attempt. Regulus isn't even under his control and is more "unleashed" and allowed to rampage.

Aja: A brilliant stallion and a mane of sun fire. He's mostly used for rapid and long distance travel since Aja can run in all directions by "riding light". Aja can charge, and in doing so appears as a lance of sunlight, and is just as destructive as it sounds. In that aspect it makes Aja Julius's most powerful summon despite Aja only being able to do so once per day. However the heat produced is not filtered thus resulting in the maneuver being held in reserve. It's tattoo summon is Julius's left hand but he lets Aja roam free until called. Using Aja causes headaches that increase in intensity- to the point of potentially rendering Julius unconscious.

Regulus: A golden lion with an attitude even bigger than its master. The beast is highly aggressive and always itching for a fight. The fact Regulus is cloaked in lightning and its roar the boom of thunder makes this familiar unsummonable except for combat. It's tattoo is Julius's right hand. Regulus is stored within the tattoo until Julius calls it. Aja is dismissed when Regulus is summoned, Julius can't yet control them both at the same time. Merely summoning Regulus results in Julius vomiting blood from the strain which grows increasingly worse across summon duration.

Julius King

Julius had found himself one of the first to enter the designated meeting area for the upcoming spirit class(hopefully a practical because he was tired of lectures). It was mostly due to his skipping a class of minor importance but the detail was insignificant. He took advantage of the situation by finding a spot that gave him sufficient view of the room and its passing. The interior allowed him to scale up to said vantage point right on the sill of one of the windows. From there it was the waiting game...and Julius hated waiting. The passage of time was agonizingly slow, and it would still be a time until those with normal schedules would be let out to join those who were free at this time. Julius didn't even attempt to conceal a yawn when he had this realization. He'd been up the past couple days refining a new seal design: a simple triangle inside the standard hexagram in the circle. He'd hoped a geometric resonance complimented by pertinent scripture would enhance the overall binding. The summon in and of itself was a weaker species- a ram to be precise, but neither Hebrew or Biblical script had a noticeable affect with the flow of summoning energies. He'd attempted both Latin and Greek script, his inability to actually read said script might have interfered with the process. His musing over these details resulted in him sleeping while on his perch.

When Julius began to wake a significant change in the room's atmosphere had taken place. The room felt...bigger and eerily silent, like a knife had been pressed against the throats of the occupants. Despite being to groggy to make sense of the situation his eyes were drawn to a red head, the only one talking in the room. Something about her caused an ice cold prickling at the base of his spine, the woman was dangerous despite her young countenance. Obviously she'd be the one providing information for the course, sadly his brain couldn't make sense of the words his ears were hearing.

By the time he'd finally shaken off the lingering sluggishness of his nap the woman had already fallen silent. Based on her attitude, she wasn't taking any question either. But the room came to life again as his fellow students clustered into groups and one was noticeably smaller than the rest. Bingo, the thought had no sooner crossed his mind than Julius left his perch and prowled towards the trio. His tattooed visage kept most students at bay and inadvertently aided his passage- not that one can blame them with the near feral gaze in his eyes, eight horns on his brow and the general area around his eyes and nose covered in ink. The flame like spike of his dark hair only really enhanced the effect...not that he could help it.

He wasn't able to hear the girl who's hair was within a shade of his own speak so much as attempt to read lips...from the gist he did understand he wasn't happy. If anything her saving grace was asking for a better plan, that much he did hear.

"Of course I do, and it's less likely to get the lot of you killed," He made no effort to conceal his open examination of the trio: a quiet blonde with a master poker face, a caned swordsman and a dark haired book nerd of an Aria. This belief softened the frown on his face, he needed a book nerd.

"What I mean is demons are devious, even the dumbest of them has enough instinct to see through most plans. You'd also be better off learning what's at your disposal. Name's Julius King, I'm packing a Stallion and a Lion summon. If the other Tamer has something good for scouting things get much easier." His crimson eyes fell upon the blonde, instinct said a gaze like hers could only belong to another Tamer. His gaze shifted back to the other girl before he continued.

"I've heard some Aria can figure out their target off just knowing what the demon looks and acts like thus meaning we simply distract the thing and get it in range for your Verse, my Stallion can then keep you safe. Otherwise, either the swordsmen or my Lion will need to stall while you figure out what verse is needed. The of course comes protecting you for the verse, probably with a man down by that time. As for the swordsman..." Julius finally turned to the other male in the group.

"We need to know now, is the cane decorative or functional and whether you're more offensive or defensive in style. That way we Tamers can better coordinate our summons with you and compensate for any potential weaknesses. To be honest, I'd rather avoid using my lion and wish we a Dragoon."

Nathaniel Kale Jenova

With each step I take, a ripple tears inbetween worlds mortals should never see. With each step I take a long lost path, dusty and old is renewed. With each step I take, the more I know.

Nathaniel was sat on the roof of the Cram School or rather the True Cross Academy he watched as each teacher and student went through the doors before finally jumping from the roof, only a small tremble happened with the cracking of stone under his feet as he fell from a high place only to land with elegant effortlessness. As he just walked off to the buses and right at the back of one with folded arms, looking down, but if one were to look into his snake like eyes, he would look like he were in a dream world but of course, it was just one of those days for him... Everything was just confusing him today...

As students rushed in they sat down but most at the back of the bus seemed to just look at Nathaniel like a were a wondrous painting or a rare sight. The bus travel was as always, loud with laughter and chattering that came to a stop as they all met their destination which in the night was eerie. He instantly felt the presence of another, weaker but that was only know for him and by the valuation of his own skills, not the students.

Nathaniel stayed at the bus for a time watching the students from afar, the only thing in the darkness that gave him away from within the darkness of the surroundings was his eyes, green blue snake like eyes that naturally glowed in the dark. His ears listened to them while his eyes looked directly at the entity as it seemingly taunted the group with feeble attempts of close missed shots of dark magicks. As he here the name Dragoon it made his ears perk up a bit but his unreadable face didn't show the interest his ears did that were covered with his long silver locks. That was when he decided to stand straight from leaning on the bus and he slowly walked up to the group, his black leather trench coat and armour was foreign to all but him. He stood to the side of them for a moment, contemplating what he should say, his eyes still looking over to the side and not that the students as he watched the demon they most likely couldn't see apart from the Aria that was Evangaline Decarprio but even then she would need to force much more to see the demon as clearly as Nathaniel did. He only continued to look on, yet for a moment put hi hand up and waved to Evangaline Decarprio for a moment before finally looking to the group. ''Onward then.''

#, as written by Ever
Aura Thorne

It was the White Rabbit, trotting slowly back again, and looking anxiously about as it went, as if it had lost something; and she heard it muttering to itself `The Duchess! The Duchess! Oh my dear paws! Oh my fur and whiskers! She' ll get me executed, as sure as ferrets are ferrets! Where CAN I have dropped them, I wonder?' Alice guessed in a moment that it was looking for the fan and the pair of white kid gloves, and she very good-naturedly began hunting about for them, but they were nowhere to be seen--everything seemed to have changed since her swim in the pool, and the great hall, with the glass table and the little door, had vanished completely.

Very soon the Rabbit noticed Alice, as she went hunting about, and called out to her in an angry tone, `Why, Mary Ann, what ARE you doing out here? Run home this moment, and fetch me a pair of gloves and a fan! Quick, now!' And Alice was so much frightened that she ran off at once in the direction it pointed to, without trying to explain the mistake it had made.

`He took me for his housemaid,' she said to herself as she ran. `How surprised he'll be when he finds out who I am! But I'd better take him his fan and gloves--that is, if I can find them.' As she said this, she came upon a neat little house, on the door of which was a bright brass plate with the name `W. RABBIT' engraved upon it. She went in without knocking, and hurried upstairs, in great fear lest she should meet the real Mary Ann, and be turned out of the house before she had found the fan and gloves.

`How queer it seems,' Alice said to herself, `to be going messages for a rabbit! I suppose Dinah'll be sending me on messages next!' And she began fancying the sort of thing that would happen: `"Miss Alice! Come here directly, and get ready for your walk!" "Coming in a minute, nurse! But I've got to see that the mouse doesn't get out." Only I don't think,' Alice went on, `that they' d let Dinah stop in the house if it began ordering people about like-

Abruptly, the scene was shattered, the imagination required for such viewing rapidly now fleeing from Aura’s attention and that precious moment now resting as a mere memory of the past. And what exactly caused this soon-to-be Tamer’s sudden distraction from this fictitious pleasure? What had caused those wandering crimson orbs to drift from the dog-eared, yellow-stained pages of her favourite novel to latch onto the podium positioned at the very front of the classroom? It was all result of the captivating spell the Dragon Exorcist casted, the authority and command her very being sapped from the other occupants, the minute those worn oaken doors swung shut with gentle ease. Instinctively, a feeling of detached adoration swept through Aura as Ms. Shosuke’s own gaze flitted past each student with unwavering determination, the slightest cough accompanying the gesture. “Alright ladies and gentlemen, listen up today will be the first time you will be working on your own in small groups. Today’s lesson is to capture and or drive away an evil spiritual creature. There approximately several of these creatures but today we will focus only on the ones at a certain location. The hunting grounds where you will carry out this lesson, is at Fluor Amusement Park. Do not worry about the civilians as the park has been closed for the past seven years. But do take in mind that it is an amusement park and Fidel City will most likely renovate the place later on so please try not to destroy any of the buildings or rides. Now hurry along now, get into groups and we’ll take a bus ride to the park” rang out the clipped tone, no sense of lingering nor familiarity present within the tone. Within a matter of a few seconds, the Upper Class Exorcist doled out orders and vanished in a similar manner of which she originally appeared. Oh my
we are going out in the field today
? And.. I have to work with others? mused the Tamer’s inner voice, the slightest twinge of concern and inquisitivity colouring the otherwise stoic tone. Exhaling a sigh at the tiring task paved before her, Aura merely flickered her attention to rest at the page number before, with as much gentle caution as she could muster, closing the worn book. Setting aside a brief moment for herself, gaze holding an emotion akin to pining, the girl sat in a metacognitive state, mind wandering with varying outcomes for today’s events. However, that state was abruptly shattered as the abrasive sound of chairs scraping against floorboards reached her foreword conscious. Oh...looks like we are leaving already.. assessed that inner voice once more, the concern now evaporated. Following in the stead of those whom she called ‘peers’, Aura fluidly raised her stature out of the weathered chair before filing out of the friendly space and onto the bus, into the world unknown.

As usual, the ride was obnoxiously loud and boisterous as others chattered and chided another, each one holding a sense of quivering excitement that could only result in a throbbing headache. Suppressing a yawn, the response opposite of her peers, the Tamer began to retire her focus from the mass and to the blurred scenes passing her view. I hope this won’t take too long
I was finally approaching my favourite section of the story..

The moment the vehicle came to a still was the moment the Tamer escaped it’s stuffy confines.. after all, she was never one for large crowds in small spaces. Inhaling shallow breaths of the crisp, morning air, this particular girl found her mind beginning to slowly unfurl. With a clear head once more, Ms. Thorne went about her usual routine when it came to group activities; separating her person from the others. Truly, it was a horrible habit, signaling herself as a lone player.. but.. well, old habits, indeed, die hard. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your stance, an ebony-haired woman floated over to their group, attire and posture screaming elegance and refinement. "I'm Evangline but call me Eve, and I hate to do this to all of you but I think we need to go against our training for this. We're one of the smaller groups and we can't spare a single person. I need to analyze the demon first so let it do what it does for a few moments then we all coordinate an attack on it. Meaning I say my verse our tamer summons and Mr. Knight acts knightly, that way it won't know who to go for. If it does pick me because I'm the weak link... well my legs and such aren't attached to my mouth. Unless any of you have ideas you'd like to bring forth that is." rang out her input, a sheepish smile pursuing the offered plan. The only reaction Aura could managed to muster was one of shock, two quick blinks indicating her feelings. She spoke
.so fast...and just approached like it was no big deal.. mused that inner voice once again, it’s confusing twinge of envy palpable. With a quick shake of her head, the snow-gold curtain briefly catching air, the Tamer attempted to vainly brush away such negative emotions and focus on the topic at hand; what they were to do.

Aura’s lips parted in the slightest, almost as if she was about to dare voice her opinions, when a masculine tone cut the bravery to it’s knees. "Of course I do, and it's less likely to get the lot of you killed What I mean is demons are devious, even the dumbest of them has enough instinct to see through most plans. You'd also be better off learning what's at your disposal. Name's Julius King, I'm packing a Stallion and a Lion summon. If the other Tamer has something good for scouting things get much easier." following his casual input, the newcomer wasted little time in eyeing each of the small huddle’s members before resting his crimson pair on Aura. It took a second for it to fully process that this ‘Julius’ was referring to her person, mind racing to focus on what he just said. Scouting
? Hm

maybe..Kota? Sending the other Tamer a small nod, indicating that she was in possession of such a summon, the doll-esque girl took this chance to glance over the other groups. They all look..strong..

That way we Tamers can better coordinate our summons with you and compensate for any potential weaknesses. To be honest, I'd rather avoid using my lion and wish we a Dragoon." ..He talks alot..

A moment of pause stretched on within the group, each member, evidently, debating what to do and how to do it. However, that quiet was soon shattered by an intruder with an eerily soft tone. ''Onward then.''. Trying to ignore the frown crossing her features, instinct already knowing who this particular voice belonged to, the female Tamer waited patiently for the team to make a collective step forward.

Akio Yamada

Soon after Akio made his way off the bus, he was surrounded by people he didn't be around if he had a choice in the matter. If it does pick me because I'm the weak link... well my legs and such aren't attached to my mouth." Akio knew who that voice belongs to it was the girl who always hangs around Jenova, if he recalls.

It took her 5 second for call her self "the weak link" on the team, Akio tried to over look this hoping it was fines as long as no one crushes the little confidence she had in herself. Soon Akio heard a second voice "Of course I do, and it's less likely to get the lot of you killed....." Akio was sure that Evangline felt useless now if she already didn't . Akio wanted to make a joke to lighten the mood, but the unknown guy started to speak again. Akio didn't pay much attention to anything he said until he got to his name.

"Name's Julius King, I'm packing a Stallion and a Lion summon. If the other Tamer has something good for scouting things get much easier." Akio stopped listening after that, Akio did noticed that every others teams had started looking for a spiritual creature. Meanwhile his team thought going over strategy was more important, they should be doing what they were sent here to do. Planing and strategy was a foreign to him, he was always taught that the if your stronger than your opponent you win. Not to mention being blind didn't help with planing out of combat anyways.

Akio let the others talk, he had anxiety sitting around doing nothing wasn't his style. In the meantime Akio just wanted them to hurry, he didn't want be here all day sitting around doing nothing. Just when Akio couldn't bear it any longer someone said, "Onward then.'', it seems that at least one other member of the team had enough of this. "ITS ABOUT TIME!". Akio starts to walk forward, as if he was motioning to the others it was time to go. "You guys can figure out what plan you're going to abandon once the fighting starts, much later.". Akio took a few more steps, before he realized that never told the others his name. "Oh ya, im Akio.". he would use his thumb to point to himself "And as long as I'm alive, not even Satan will lay a finger on your guys.". Suddenly Akio turned back to the other, and point the handle of his cane at them "NOW! Who's going to lead me around, because I have no idea where I are going.". Akio began to laugh at this half-joking, and half serious statement.

Eve looked at their newest addition to the team, Julius. Tugging on her ivory gloves she muttered to herself "My plan wasn't that bad... it was tailored for a small team." Once she was done fidgeting with gloves she looked back up just to see Julius judging her appearance. Straightening her shoulders she was about to give him a look meant to say "who are you to judge" when something in his features softened. Seeing as how it seemed that she wasn't viewed negativity she decided against giving that look and settled for a "finished yet?" look. When he then spoke indirectly to the team and outlined his plan, something about the notion that he would be protecting her struck a cord. She truly was defenseless, and really if any of the others decided to attempt to memorize religious passages she wouldn't be needed. A moment of self loathing hit her for being useless but she brushed it under the rug, right now she had a job to do. So going to his rhetorical idiotic statement about only some aria's being able to tell a verses based off of how it acts was absurd. How else was she supposed to figure it out, asking the damn thing? Really she had some general theories about the verse based off it's freaking location, after all amusement parks are meant for children. Only instead of saying any of what she had on her mind she simply settled for "Just leave me a short observation window and I'm set captain." Grinning a little she thought the nickname suited him. After all he just came in here and started giving orders like a captain would to his team.

Then taking a moment to observe the others Eve noticed Mr. Jenova giving her a quick wave. As a result her eyes light up when she saw her favorite teacher and she gave a brilliant smile in return. Now she had to blow this thing out of the water after all it would look bad on Mr. Jenova if she didn't. Looking at the other teams she noticed that they were already scouting. Looking to Miss Mute (aka Aura... until a better nickname showed up), Captain, and Akio Eve gave a somewhat encouraging smile as she was about to say something along the lines of "shall we get going?" When Akio just kinda blew up shouting about things. Once he was done Eve couldn't help but laugh at his antics. Holding her gloved hand to her mouth she fought valiantly against the laughter threatening to spill over but allais she couldn't help it and gave into her giggles. Feeling absolutely terrible about laughing at his outburst when Mr. Jenova, who wasn't apart of the team, accidently caused it just wasn't right. Only to be fair she more less ended up laughing at his ending, after all he gave this self assured speal just to end it with asking for help. The fact alone that he didn't mind asking for help won him brownie points points with Eve.

So gently she seized his free hand and said "Alright then Sparky, lets get going." tugging him toward where her gut said there was some sort of evil energy. Training with Mr. Jenova did tend to come in handy in regards to honing her instincts and capabilities in general. As she was leading sparky Eve twist her torso so she could face the others and had a bit of an internal argument on what to call Aura as she didn't want to call her Miss. Mute incase it hurt her feeling, but she didn't want to exclude her by not giving her nickname. So quickly she thought of something else and went with something based off apparence. Looking at the two again she gave a grin accompanied with her saying "Well then Captain, Ms. Fay, are you coming or staying?"

Julius King

"Taking to the skies actually," Julius called out his response while slicing his right thumb open on a sharpened button for this task. He ran the thumb over the seal on his left hand to activate its summon. "Aja, I require your assistance." The summon was lazy at best but Aja was a very compliant familiar. The seal flashed with such intensity that Julius had to shut his eyes, at its conclusion he was seated upon the fiery horse in question. A dull ache began forming at the back of his skull, something he could easily ignore at this time.

"With any luck an aerial view will speed things up a bit... you fly'n or walk'n?" The last bit was intended for the female Tamer, and Julius mentally commanded Aja to kneel. His summon's size allowed him to disguise his own immobile state as courtesy. He turned to face the Aria to reaffirm his own intentions with her and the Knight, but a flicker caught his eye.

What was that...there's no way, the thought formed while the girl he failed to recognize as Aura also mounted Aja. It could have been just the wind moving rubbish, or a civilian...in his experience spirits and demons were far from subtle and stealthy. " Hold on," Julius advised his counterpart just before Aja rose to its feet.

" A bird's eye view might help us...either in terms of safety and hunting," He fixed his gaze towards the other pair. " Yell if you come across anything and we'll come down, otherwise I'm only descending if we spot anything from the sky. Either was as soon as things get hot I'm sending Aja to get you."

Those acted as his parting words before Aja took to the air with a lively trot. The beast wanted to take off at a gallop, but great effort and eye watering spike in pain prevented such an event. However Julius found himself unable from being able to clearly see...or properly play look out.

"Don't suppose you can see anything," the words were more joke than question but at this point the extra set of eyes were necessary.

Nathaniel smiled shortly as the students went forth before turning away and walking to Ryuu's side which was a bit behind the group of students as expected by a protector... He was not a very good teacher in that way. It was hard for him to connect to people even now, Eve was a different story. She made the effort to get close to him and eventually he returned the feelings. Though the act with much formal language and poise to which others see as tensed or strange they were very close and it was only in private that their formal outlook changed or in dire moments if one of them were hurt... Maybe that was the reason why he chose to tag along with Ryuu... So to watch over his dear friend.

He walked beside Ryuu in silence, watching from there to the students, watching the entity and the student's souls for any changes, mostly in the students though, he would only step in when it is in dire need or if the students request it, which was unlikely since most apart from Eve considered him a friend or part of the school. It didn't help the wear he dressed, never mind his eyes or bone tipped pointed ears and claws. Perhaps it was the way he acted around everyone, even Eve... He was so formal, vague or awkward. He couldn't help it in truth but he wishes to improve and he has in some ways with Eve's help after all... Getting a friendly hug from him was hard for her to achieve in itself.

Nathaniel finally spoke, his breaths hardly heard and no misty cloud from breathing was odd as he spoke. ''How do you think they fair?'' He would tilt his head as he watched from there, the students' souls moving around and the entity's as well. ''A lesser spirit I see... How is there team work? Which one is more successful in leading the group...?'' He looked at Aura's soul, raising a brow. ''I don't think they will have a problem at all either way... someone has more potential than even they know... interesting... So similar...''

#, as written by Ever
Aura Thorne

The Tamer’s crimson orbs widened, just ever-so-slightly, at the brash and loud-mouthed claim that their Knight, this Akio Yamada, professed. In fact, the sudden outburst had caused the small girl’s shoulders to jolt upwards in a mixture of surprise and annoyance. Let’s hope he isn’t this loud on the field
otherwise, we may have a displeasurable experience.. Exhaling a soft sigh, Aura’s lips parted, as if to voice an opinion about a matter, but any notion was cut short by another outburst; this time another laugh by Eve. Giving a slight shake of her head, snowy-gold tresses catching movement for the briefest of seconds, the Tamer couldn’t help but allow for her eyes to narrow in exasperation. Are they always this loud
?

"Well then Captain, Ms. Fay, are you coming or staying?" rang out the raven haired woman’s voice, the chippery singing quality easily making Aura forget her agitation. With a firm nod and one last scan of their surroundings, the girl sprung into action, footsteps lingering with slight hesitation. I wonder...what will we see? What is this creature, the creature we are suppose to find, going to be like? pondered her conscious, materialistic focus blurring as she was consumed by her mind. However, Julius’s confident response abruptly rang out, promptly yanking the odd girl back to the present. "Taking to the skies actually” Spinning on her heels in curiosity and amusement, the Tamer’s orbs grew in surprise as the horse familiar sprung forth, it’s power emanating. Blinking in surprise, it took a few seconds for Aura to piece together Julius’s question, the sheer shock of such a large summon still present. With an absent nod, the Tamer hesitantly shuffled over to the stallion before reaching a hand forward. Pressing the palm into the loin of the equine, Aura swung a leg over the summon’s body, her stature shifting just slightly to find balance. This..is kinda nice.. at least he has a familiar he can ride.. Unlike Rin or Kota It wasn’t until the other Tamer’s grave warning mused out that Aura felt a twinge of fear, her conscious instinctively regretting it’s previous assessment. With a sharp inward take of breath, the Tamer’s arms shot out to wind themselves around Julius’s waist in a death grip, the stallion taking flight without warning.

Once they evened into a steady pace, Aura finally letting her suffocating hold on the poor guy fall away, the female student took a second to let out an appreciative gasp. ”It’s
pretty up here. Birds are lucky..don't you think so? Constantly visiting different places, always free with all the time in the world..plus, they get to fly! I mean, I would personally enjoy-” rambled on her words, a certain note of lively enthusiasm allowing a conflicting side to her personality appear. Realizing her fault, the Tamer quickly shut her mouth, a soft sigh pursuing the gesture. That’s right.. I’ve always felt more comfortable near the sky.. I wonder why..? Once more, the girl felt herself drift into a surreal state of thought, an argument in the process of forming. On the other hand
I’ve always been attracted to dark and enclosed spaces
they are quite contradictory of each other... Much like before, the raven-haired Tamer’s question rang out, jerking her back to the world and his voice. Oddly enough, before his words could fade, a new presence made itself known to the girl..despite being this high up. Eyes widening then narrowing at the unfamiliarity, Aura retrained her focus to the ground, eyes scanning. With hawk-esque precision, those crimson orbs were automatically attracted to the roller coaster..and for good reason. Near the ticket entrance to the ride was their target, a swirling mass of inky tenderils veining from it’s stature. ”In fact.. I can. There. By the rollercoaster” was her response, finger pointing at it’s location. Show time.

Julius King

(OOC: note- Julius has never bothered checking Aja's gender. My own use of stallion term is to indicate the spirit's more wild nature and not remembering the proper term "mustang". Really only saying this for sake of continuity and in case someone should feel like calling Julius on that.)

The strength behind his fellow Tamer's grip caught Julius by surprise as it was far more than what he expected from such a small girl. If he had to guess, some part of him refused to vocally admit she was crushing him. A second unexpected event also occurred once Aja's ascent had leveled out...she became talkative. On the plus side, she had spotted their quary...making a descent necessary. However, he decided to vocalize his own answers to the girl's outburst.

" While I do not envy the birds, I do appreciate the view granted to those in the heavens." Why am I talking so dramatically? He briefly wondered at his own behavior before trying to adjust himself on Aja and grit out another sentence or two.
He mentally commanded Aja to land before voicing these final thoughts. "Tell the others what you saw...I couldn't see anything," Julius winced at a throb from both his ribs and skull...he kept his right eye closed. He found his next words actually sounding casual, maybe even...friendly.

"Solar stallions such as Aja require a lot of exercise to be happy, but require a very firm hand to not burn everything around them. I'd exercise him myself, but I don't have sufficient free time to let him out..." He let his words trail off before loosening his control on Aja slightly. The stallion seized the opportunity and attempted to run the remain distance to the ground, the air nearby growing drastically warmer as it picked up speed. Julius reigned the stallion in before too long, his point had been made. The little stunt forced him to land a greater distance from the other two, with a nudge Aja was used to close the distance.
Instead of just dismissing Aja instantly as usual, he made the spirit kneel once more and dismounted like it were a normal horse.

"My fellow Tamer has sharp eyes, spotted a spirit clear over at the roller coasters...anything exciting happen down here?" While polite, once more his mannerisms were purely business more than a desire of conversation.

Ryuu

Ryuu realized her group was making slow progress, mainly because unlike the other groups, Aurora's group were actually trying to devise a plan. Good, teamwork is the key to this test. She continued to follow them making sure to keep to the shadows but also in adding distance between them and her. Ryuu was aware of the fact that some of them were able to faintly feel the presence of those around them that had high spiritual energy.

Although she was human, with her mixed blood, she had more spiritual energy than the average person. Glancing over her shoulder, Ryuu noticed one of her colleges was close behind her. From his eerie looking eye's, she guessed it was Nathaniel. The group slowed down for a moment, Probably to get introductions over and done with, the thought ran through her head before it was interrupted.

"How do you think they fair" And so began the onslaught of question. "A lesser spirit I see... How is there team work? Which one is more successful in leading the group...? ''I don't think they will have a problem at all either way... someone has more potential than even they know... interesting... So similar...''

Ryuu stared at him over her shoulder, one brow raised in question. Looks like I got stuck with the ever curious and questioning Nathaniel An almost smile appeared on her lips but it soon vanished for a more serious face. Turning her head forwards again, Ryuu answered his questions in order.

" Well first off, they haven't gotten far so they're just fine for the moment anyway. So far from what I see happening before me, they've got the best teamwork. Unlike the other groups they've gotten introductions over and done with a forming a plan. I'd say your student, Evangeline and my own, Julius are the best at leading the group."

The red head decided not to make any comment on his last few words. But she was curious as to what he meant. The sudden waves of heat and light caught her eye and drew her attention back at the group. From the look of things, Julius had summoned one of his familiars. "Tch, why Aja-Oh I see. You're a smart one indeed." Having been one of his primary teachers as she herself was a Tamer, Ryuu had overseen Julius's first summoning. The kid had a knack for getting the strong ones but of course it came at a price. The strain on his body could be too much if he decided to over do it.

The group seemed to get a bit more busy. To further prove her observation, Julius and Aurora took to the sky on Aja's back while Evangeline and Akio took the ground. They started moving forwards and so did Ryuu, but not before biting her own thumb and sliding it down her arm. The tattoo there started to wriggle and curl, soon enough it slide right of her arm to take on the form of a small black dragon. "Night follow after the two who are in the sky, I'll stay down here with these two." Night nodded in acknowledgement and coiled about as he gained altitude and quickly caught up to Julius and Aurora.

Ryuu looked over at Nathaniel, "Lets get a move on." With that being said, Ryuu headed in the general direction of Evangaline and Akio.

Nathaniel walked behind Ryuu still, his chains clashing together lightly against his black leather armour, steel like claws on his buckled boots digging into the earth with ease, shrouding the sound of his steps all the more. A smile was rather for Nathaniel, his face normally stoic or cold but when he did, as rare it was, it never failed to show warmth and a gentleness that was not ever really seen on the man but as rare as they were it only showed the significant of it's appointed affection. It was directed to Evangeline... It seemed being around her made Nathaniel more curious about... emotions so much so that he desired to express them more naturally. It wasn't that he didn't feel, it was that he never learned to express them.. only burying them away with a hard swallow, no matter the pain.

He continued to smile to himself, realising he was becoming side tracked and so his stoic facial expression returned and he looked up, looking ahead and up at the souls of the students, his eyes almost acting as a light source. He saw the wavering effect on Julius and he tilted his head, speaking out a thought to himself. ''That is his price? Interesting...'' He then saw Ryuu summon her own familiar and he smiled, from behind Ryuu he waved a little at the creature, it was safe to say, he had a soft side for animals. He then appointed his attention back to Ryuu once more, still learning of things of this world he was easily distracted by the things that most considered normal. ''I agree with you Ryuu... They are both very strong characters. Let us hope that they work together rather than against each other. It is a common thing, besting a fellow student to outshine another to steal ones spotlight for praise in youth after all.'' Once Ryuu picked up the pace he did to, going to her side, his glowing orbs for eyes watching the students and staring directly at the entity. ''Of course... I shall like to see Eve's improvements myself.''

Akio Yamada

"Alright then Sparky, let's get going." Was the last thing Akio heard before he was pulled forward. Akio didn't like the idea of being led around, like a little kid, especially after nobody wanted him on their team because of him being blind, but he had no choice. He ran behind Evangline with ease, so he thought it best to make himself somewhat useful and keep an ear out for trouble, but there was something that was making it difficult to listen for anything. Akio couldn't focus on anything in the distance over a light rubbing sound. He didn't know if it was from the"thing" she was wearing or something else, but he did hear the others had somehow taken to the sky on what sounded like a horse.

Akio paid little attention to it since both were, Tamer's and most likely had summon a familiar. He only brought his attention back to them when he heard some commotion up ahead. Akio assumed that the spiritual creature had attacked someone, so he quickly let go of Evangline hand and sprinted ahead, he places his hand on the handed of his cane pulling it slightly unsheathing his sword. Akio was ready to attack until he heard "My fellow Tamer has sharp eyes, spotted a spirit clear over at the roller coasters...anything exciting happen down here?" Akio quickly re sheath his sword and slowed to a stop. "uh.... Nope, just stretching my legs. Some of us have to fight an evil spirit." Akio would laugh nervously trying to cover up his misunderstanding, Akio would quickly stop laughing after he heard a strange noise not to far way.

Akio turns his attention to where the evil spirit, I'm guessing that's him over there." Akio would begin to smirk " I'll buy you some time to summon your familiars. It doesn't sound that big so I should be fine on my own for a few minutes." Akio would begin to walk forward, it seemed not to even be aware of the young, exorcist's. As Akio walked closer, his foot slightly kicked a old tin can, it made a soft *clank*. This gave Akio an idea. He didn't like the thought of attack the evil spirit from behind for a number of reasons, the two biggest being it's much harder for him to attack something not making a lot of noise and two Akio thought attacking his opponent from behind was "uncool". Akio positioned his foot under the tin can and quickly flicked it up into the air and got into what you would call a "batter stance", he swung his cane at the can hitting over to the evil spirit.

The can whizzed pass the evil spirit, but it was enough to grab its attention, it looks back at Akio as the boy laughs. "awwwww I shanked it! Oh well, I got your attention now! " Akio began to spin his cane with one hand, soooooo are you going to be a good evil spirit and let us exorcise you or, are we going to have to do this the hard way!!" Just as Akio finished his comments, the evil spirit flew into a rage and picked up a nearby trash can and throw it at the boy. Instantly Akio stop spinning his cane and unsheathed its hidden blade cutting the trash can in two, and quickly re sheath it, if you didn't look closely you could have easily missed his attack. after seeing its attack fail the evil spirit would rush at the boy. As the evil spirit barreling down on him, Akio's smirk grew bigger "I was hoping you say that." As Akio would lower his body into his fighting stance.

Evangline DeCaprio

Eve merely sighed as she watched the newly christened sparky do exactly what she didn't need done, start the fight a moment to early. With nothing to go off of for a verse except context clues such as the fact it appeared here, and it's appearance. Virtually nothing and if she was any other Aria what she's trying to pull off would have to be a miracle or at the very least an act of god's will. So taking a few steps and an after you motion to the others in the team Eve said just loud enough to be heard "Give me a moment everyone, I don't have much to go off of. Just... be careful, please."

So keeping a bit of distance she ruled out the idea that the location had any significance due to multiple reasons like the fact there's so much energy here from the other groups or maybe it was the other demons, hell a teacher could have summoned it. So now the only clue was it's fighting style, which is normally pure primal attacking, based off physical attributes. So studying the thing, Eve realized it wasn't exactly a demon and more so a spirit thing, and that changed a few ideas. Throwing out a few more hundred principles Eve tugged on her gloves, this was going to take more time than she had if it continued at it's snail paced rate of process of elimination. With hundreds of thousands of religious passages and not all of them christianity she needed to step it up. Going back to it's physical appearance and how it's coloring consist of shades of black and bright red in the middle of it Eve decided on something that reflects light and goodness, after all for something spiturial to take on such a dark form there must be no good in it.

So digging around her mind and shifting through the passages that fit the criteria setting on John 3:19-28 Eve closed her eyes and just allowed herself to be a vessel for god's words. So unlike the newer Aria's she didn't screech and shout the verse, instead she simply spoke loud enough to be heard but with such conviction and strength that one would think she was giving a motivational speech, or preaching, or something of the like the words rang out of her mouth "Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

Screwing her eyes shut Eve heard the first screech that came from the monster Eve walked backwards continuing the verse as she waited for it to strike. Only she didn't have to wait long opening her eyes once more Eve watched as it ran toward her at terrifying speeds. Continuing to move backward behind the rest of her team Eve finished the verse For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God"

Watching it scream and go mad with pain Eve felt a twinge of pity for the thing, not enough to stop doing what she's doing but enough to falter in a repeat of her verse. Enough to make a deadly mistake to let the beast recover.

Satan Azrael

“My subordinate is my business! If one more demon talks ill of either him or myself once more I will not be as easily forgiving as I have been.”

Azrael’s eyes widened ever so slightly at the spirited reaction from the Princess. A wicked smile crept along his lips as his eyes narrowed holding a cold light in them. I’ll have to teach her a few things later. Especially that tongue of hers, what an interesting little girl.

“Ha! Satan you have no idea what sits before you, and to prove it I offer myself and, if he wants, Yeu to participate in this little adventure party! After all I am the youngest here and have the most to prove. Surely you could not deny a young girl that, Satan?”

Once again she had surprised him with her words and her rising confidence. “You better watch your tongue girl. But you that’s where you’re wrong, why should I send someone who has no experience to lead this little adventure of yours? His voice was cold. The room seemed to get colder and heavy air of foreboding hung in the air. Azrael didn’t appreciate the fact that the Princess had cornered him with her words, it had been a long while since this happened.

“But seeing as your so eager to be a part of this I’ll let you lead. Just know I won’t take failure lightly, this isn’t one of your pretty little adventures. The same goes to your subordinate.” With that having been said, Azrael leaned back in his chair, his glare daring Bavol and Yeuri to say otherwise to his decision.

“I’ll go. It will be a simple mission and surely you have more important matters to attend to back in the circles.” Azreal simply glanced in the direction of Chikyu’s subordinate. Hmm I’ll have to them keep an eye on him. His gaze eventually shifted back to the Princess and her subordinate. ”If you go, I will remain at your side. Gore will keep watch of the circles and report anything amiss, to which will be dealt with on our return, should it please you to be so. There are also the others to reinforce your rules in the meantime.”

Once more Azrael’s eyes shifted to something else, their focus being the Prince of Fire. By the look of things the younger demon finally spoke up. "Well, if this is settled, I have my own little errand to run. Please send someone to notify myself when exactly this little search party is leaving for the human world, and I am sure Jackal would be most disappointed if he did not have any rabbits to chase after.."

Azrael snorted and rolled his eyes at Vincent’s words. But he let the Prince leave his chambers along with his rather horrid looking dog. He let Vincent’s departure rest in the air for a moment before shifting in his chair. Turning his attention back to those before him, Azrael sat forwards, lacing his fingers in front of him. “Well that settles it. Bavol you will lead a group to the Human World and with the help of Yeuri and Astaroth along with Vincent’s summon. You will be going under the guise of humans with limiters of course. Under no circumstances are you to deviate from your mission least you alert those damned Angels of our movement. Now go get a move on, your dismissed.”

He waved his hand at them to leave. Once they were no longer in his presence, Azrael stood up and donned on his public illusion. Becoming nothing more than a moving shadow with glowing red orbs set in what looked to be a cruel face, Azrael called for a servant. ”Go inform the Prince of Fire of the departure of the expedition group.” His voice came out gravely and deep with a tone of absolute authority in it. The servant merely bowed before disappearing as he was no longer within sight.

Azrael, sat back down and thought for a while. Now would normally be the time in which Cerbin would give him his report. “What is that bastard doing?” Pursing his lips, Azrael let loose a piercing whistle almost on par with Vincent’s. In a matter of seconds, Malice, one of Cerbins summons as well as his older brother appeared at his feet. A smaller lesser demon than his canine brother, Malice was a pure black dog, save for his paws, ears and tail. Which were red, almost like they were dipped in fresh blood. Licking his lips, Azrael spoke to the canine, “Cerbin you have yet to give me your report on her. How does she fare?”

True Cross Academy, Fidel City

At the same moment, the very lesser demons that Azrael had sent the others to capture showed up at the amusement park. At first they simply explored, messing with the old and rubdown structures within the park. That is until they caught sight of the humans. The group of lesser demons, five to be exact, only one of them was missing so really it was only four at the moment. The quartet sniffed the air in search of the best meal and caught the scent of rather strong individuals that and something that smelled vaguely of demon flesh.

Yipping and growling, the lesser demons flocked towards the group of humans. One of them was like the human that had summoned them to Earth. This puny male (Julius) had a horse looking thing while the others (Evangeline) looked weak but good to eat. Save for the other male (Akio), in his hand he carried a demon blade. The group of lesser demons hissed but they continued onward toward the group save for one of them who caught the scent of a pure demon, a superior one at that. Grinning to itself it left the three and attacked the Superior Demon (Cerbin). It was larger than the other three nearing the size of a small horse, it was a nasty looking thing all fangs and patches of fur and scales. The other three attacked the small group of humans but one caught the scent of something funny and attacked it (Aura) in hopes of singling it out so it didn’t have to share.

Julius King

The sudden increase in numbers caught Julius entirely by surprise, "there's supposed to be only one! blatant irritation showed on his face. Deep down something else was stirring but he couldn't identify the emotion under current conditions. After all, right now time was the most precious of resources. Which unfortunately robbed him of the luxury of being picky.

"I got this, run! Don't stop, you'll only get in the way!"Julius barked far harsher than he intended before desperately began gathering what energies he could to raise his power to its limit. Julius held out his right hand, and chanted to increase his concentration.

"Oh king of beasts, servant of Hera and punisher of Zeus. Unleash thine rage and crush those before me scourge of Nemea!" The seal on his hand burned and Julius felt his body burning. Regardless he pressed on, slicing his finger and cracking the seal. "Roar...Regulus!!" Now sooner than had the call been completed did Julius' inside blaze with pain. The taste of iron stung his tongue just before reflex made him double over. A red fluid, his own blood gushed from his mouth before splattering on the hard concrete but he refused to lower the hand containing the lion.

In answer to his call, he observed the head and mane of Regulus form and open its maw. However he heard no sound, the ringing of his ears too loud. The concussive action of the roar itself was still manifest, the demons in the roars path were staggered if not thrown back. Errant bolts of lightning from his summon's mane also arched forth, but these were not aimed...merely a destructive byproduct of the beast manifesting. Unfortunately, Regulus didn't disappear as intended... the creature struggled against the remaining seal. Julius grit his teeth as he struggled for control, but he felt his strength fading fast. The toll of Aja and Regulus was too much for him at this point, and now he was paying the price. But his Tamer pride wasn't about to let his teammates suffer for it, and so he suffered and cling as he might to consciousness...it would leave him soon enough. After that, Regulus if unchecked would be free to rampage.

Fear gripped her heart as things went from doable to absolutely, down right, awful. One moment she was chanting a verse that weakened the thing the next more demons appeared. For a fleeting moment the thought of any of the teachers helping crossed her mind when she realized that this was it. Truly her team was on her own, and they would die this way if something doesn't get done. Hearing the Cap shout for someone (99.98% chance her) to move out of the way and run caught her attention. Only like hell would she, they were a team. Digging around her memory for something that could weaken all of them Eve just continued chanting the light verse keeping the spirt thing busy. Then running over to the now extremely weakened verse she switched tactics.

Sure she knew that she wasn't good for much but she could do something, feeling like she had a grip on a more powerful verse she grounded herself as she took in a breath and cried in latin Genesis 33:20 "et erecto ibi altari invocavit super illud Fortissimum Deum Israhel" While the effect wasn't as powerful as she would have liked Eve did acknowledge that for a "in general" verse it did quite a bit of damage. Most of the demons, if not all became a tad more sluggish and the accuracy missed, as for the spirt thing it was still reeling in pain from the last verse. So continuously she repeated that verse to give the captains awe inspiring lion and majestic stallion a fighting chance. However another verse was a bit more fitting so switching to a different one she chanted the 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 "in carne enim ambulantes non secundum carnem militamus, nam arma militiae nostrae non carnalia sed potentia Deo ad destructionem munitionum consilia destruentes,et omnem altitudinem extollentem se adversus scientiam Dei et in captivitatem redigentes omnem intellectum in obsequium Christi, et in promptu habentes ulcisci omnem inoboedientiam cum impleta fuerit vestra oboedientia." Holy freaking hell was it long but it did it's job. The verse was by no means the fatal verse, however it was damning to the demons as they cried out in pain and suffering.

A small smirk appeared at the edge of Eve's lips, she had them right when they realized she was the source of their sufferings. Starting the longest verse she has ever rushed yet again, Eve looked to the Cap and bit her lip for a moment. He was dwindling and them some, the lion and stallion were doing absolutely excellent only for how much longer. Wishing vehemently for this to end up like a movie or something, when something convenient appeared magically right when it was needed. Alas that wasn't to be the case, and all Eve knew was that she had to move him or something would happen. So attempting to pick him up was just going to end awful but staying in the open would kill them. Feeling a bit guilty for her last resort she dragged him, wishing the words sorry could be said, but they couldn't as the damn verse needed to constantly be spoken. Feeling her mouth dry up and her arms tire from dragging him a few meters Eve wanted to just say f- it and let the teachers deal with this. Only life doesn't work that way and she managed to get them somewhat covered behind some rest stop shelter bathroom thing. Taking in a breath for a moment she just let her head rest on the wall. She was out of hearing range, and she did all the damage that she could do to the things. The rest was up to the team.

Tugging on her gloves she just let herself fall to the ground loathing this useless feeling she had. Truly she didn't even do much, so looking to Cap Eve finally muttered her sorry and just sat there allowing her lap to be used a pillow.

Aura Thorne

Aura gracefully slid downwards from the fire stallion’s girth to rest, once more, her grounded feet on the asphalt. Though, could one really say that she was anything but exalted to be standing, albeit on shaky knees, back in her home court once more? Slowly reaching out a wavering hand, the golden-haired Tamer lightly thumped the palm against the base of his neck, attempting to show the appreciation she had of being alive after he came plummeting down to the surface. In fact, her mouth had just opened to voice her gratitude when the screams and shouts arrived.

Spinning around on her heels, crimson orbs just slightly widened with surprise, what greeted Aura wasn’t the pleasantry of the abandoned amusement park. No no, it was far worse; it was a scene of utter chaos, lesser demons, whom were most certainly not their intended targets, decided to make a crashing appearance. Of course she was shocked! Who wouldn’t be? Feeling that familiar sense of cold dread wash over her, blood chilling in the vein, Aura’s gaze latched onto the rambunctious Akio, the idiot purposefully taunting one by himself. He
.he’s going to get himself...killed like that! hissed her inner conscious, worry seeping heavily into the tone. Sinking her teeth into her lower lip, the quiet Tamer had made a move to rush to her comrade’s side, even if she wasn’t going to be of much use, when Julius, the fire stallion’s owner, barked out a definitive order. "I got this, run! Don't stop, you'll only get in the way!" It was this voice, this command, that directed this girl’s focus to rest on her counterpart’s physical condition, his features pallid and reflecting back the agitation she felt inward. Knitting eyebrows in worry, Aura merely responded with a reluctant nod, the screams from another party directing her attention sharply to the left. W
.where are the teachers?! "Oh king of beasts, servant of Hera and punisher of Zeus. Unleash thine rage and crush those before me scourge of Nemea! Roar...Regulus!!" were the male student’s final words, the demand cut short by the hacking sound of blood bubbling in his throat. Spraying the life force over the concrete, Ms. Fay took a half-step closer to the suffering Exorcist, every intent to call upon one of her summons (even if they wouldn’t provide that much help) in her mind. However, a single warning growl from behind her indicated that fate had no such plans in the workings.

Narrowing her scarlet gaze, that pit at the bottom of her stomach expanded, adrenaline now sending out erratic bursts
after all, it was just her luck to be signalled out. But...what about..Julius
? Well, with one look over at Eve dragging his body away from the action, that notion was put to rest, concerns about her own person now arising. Drawing in a shaky breath, her thought process became occupied with counting down from 10, hoping, praying, an idea would come to her
after all, she surely hoped she wouldn’t have to act on her first instinct. 10

! In that split second that ‘1’ mentally resounded was the second she took off, lithe stature streaking past the alleyway that Eve and Julius had ducked into, feet barely making contact with the ground. And, of course, that pigheaded demon ended up chasing in pursuit.

Leaping over the upturned garbage cans and discarded stuffed animals, all remainders of the lesser demons' first taste of freedom, the Tamer’s conscious eroded away the initial points of dread for her team mates and more for the dire situation she had put herself in. Hearing the snarls fading just in the slightest, Aurora received this as a blessing as she detoured to the carousel, hoping to find a stronghold there to plot her escape. Ducking behind the paint-chipped benches, the teenager had ended up squatting, untrusting to sit fully down should the event of having to flee come to priority once more. Panting out shallow breaths, mental curses filling her mind, Aura rummaged through her blazer’s front pocket, desperate to find the one tool that would either save or condemn her existence. Fingertips brushing against the sliver of cold metal, a small smile played onto her features as she retrieved it from the depths of fabric; a needle. Glancing up and over the bench’s backing, her eyes narrowed at the sight of the mangy hound, fur pulsating with shadow, noisily sniffing out her scent...and, apparently, it was confused. Retreating her head back to the safety of the obscure view, Aura pricked the bed of her right pointer finger, a drop of crimson welling up. However...something was off about her in this moment of time. It was as if someone had taken control of her person, as if someone possessed knowledge she didn’t. Blacking out for a brief moment, any sense of self-awareness melting away, her body began to move on it’s own accord, eager to project what it's mind was demanding. When she finally came to, blinking confusion her response, Aura could only stare at the 4-inch mark in curiosity, in apprehension. Instead of Rin or Kota’s usual symbol painted onto the machine’s metal flooring, glyph occupied it’s place, the construction of it’s birth quite unique to say the least. What the
? mused her inner voice, wariness causing that distrusting gaze to narrow. A heartbeat had passed before, out of nowhere, a searing pain in her low spine caused her to yelp out in surprise. Undoubtedly, the lesser demon heard the tortured gasp...but did she care? Hardly.. in fact, the whole of her attention was focused on, vainly, blocking out the sensation that felt as though flame was licking her flesh. Clenching her jaw, tears pooling in her vision, Aura could only grasp at the fabric of her vest, breath now only arriving in small gasps. In fact, the Tamer was in so much pain that it didn’t even fully click with herself in that instance; she had summoned a lesser demon to her aid, to be pitted against her pursuer.

Ryuu

Ryuu nodded her agreement with Nathaniel. She didn’t particularly care about the students as individuals but more so because she was a teacher and it was her job to care. Hmm maybe taking this one wasn’t the best idea after all Ryuu looked back at Nathaniel as she continued to shadow her students. Very little happened between Evangeline and Akio not that she had expected much. Akio was one to joke around but Evangeline seemed more on the serious side of things. As she walked, Ryuu kept looking up at the sky, red eyes flicking about in search of her familiar and her students. A flash of movement could be seen which Ryuu soon deduced to being Night as he slithered through the sky.

She watched Akio as he made a fool of himself, an amused smile beginning to form on her lips. Suddenly Night settled down beside her drawing her attention away from the two before her for a brief second. “Where are the other two?” Night curled in the air beside her head as he shrunk to the size of a medium sized snake. “They are on their way. It seems the boy landed a bit too far from the others so I’m guessing he’s bringing his familiar closer.” Ryuu looked back at the other two in her line of sight and soon enough Julius and Aura arrived. His familiar knelt so he ad Aura could dismount as one would a normal horse.

Nodding her head she continued to watch them, not even bothering to look in the direction of her familiar. “Good, they’re here in one piece, although I would have preferred it if you had stayed with them Night.” With that being said, Ryuu reached out for Night who in turn curled around her arm. With a dark flash of light Night once more became a two-dimensional version of himself. Still moving about on her arm, it looked like the dragon like familiar was making himself comfortable before finally settling and was still.

Upon the fellow tamers arrival, Ryuu could hear Akio’s nervous laugh as he tried to turn attention away from his fool of a blunder. Surprisingly enough the knight-in-training proved himself by what he did next in dealing with the obvious piece of news Julius had given them. As Akio quietly confronted the spiritual creature, his foot hit a can much to Ryuu’s dismay. Ugh now it’ll know your there but that didn’t seem to be the case as the spiritual creature seemed to be completely oblivious of the young exorcists in trainings presence. Using his cane, Akio hit the can and it flew right by the spiritual creatures head. “Hmm that was pretty good for a blind swordsman. Let’s see what else you’ve got up your sleeve Yamada.”

Akio began to taunt the poor creature but it was enough for it to anger it. Throwing a trash can towards the young swordsman; Akio unsheathed his sword and then sheathed it with surprising speed and precision. Impressive. I guess his family’s harsh training has done some good. Seeing as the trash can was a failed attempt, the spiritual creature rushed Akio who lowered himself into a fighting stance, which earned him a slight frown from Ryuu as she began to criticize the stance he chose. Ryuu gave him a scrutinizing look over, His center of gravity is too high, one push and he’ll be easily overtaken by it. That was really the only thing Ryuu caught onto before she turned her attention back to the rest of the group.

Red eyes focused on the female Aria as she distanced herself from the group, but not because she was scared but to give her room to think. Good, good. Think and think hard Evangeline. Soon enough it seemed the girls thinking time was over as she began to speak a phrase from the bible. Although because Ryuu herself wasn’t an Aria she had to rack through her brain in order to figure out the verse Evangeline was speaking. Ryuu was glad the girl was screeching out the verse like another Aria she knew. The red haired woman understood their need to be loud so their voices could reach the ears of the spiritual creature or lesser demon. It sometimes got a little annoying hearing them scream and shout all the while making a fool out of themselves.

The young girl continued with her verse and already the first sounds of pain coming from the spiritual creature could be heard. However it seemed the Aria herself wasn’t able to handle the scream of pain that escaped its lips. Faltering just enough to give herself an opening but it seemed before the spiritual creature actually had a chance to attack the girl. It yowled in fear as it made an attempt to backtrack its footsteps. It was at that moment a chill went down Ryuu’s spine, turning around she just barely managed to catch sight of a flock of lesser demons pass her overhead. One of the three went in a separate direction and right towards Aura, while the other two focused their attention on her students. Ironically the lesser demons did her a favor as one scooped up the spiritual creature in its jaws and swallowed it whole. Finally the direness of the situation reached Ryuu’s mind as she ran towards her students, a string of curses escaped her lips and were left in her wake.

“What the hell are they doing here?” As she got closer to her students, Julius had summoned his second familiar one Ryuu hadn’t realized her had. It was a lion albeit a wild one as it let loose a deafening roar that sent not only the lesser demons in its path but her as well staggering backwards. Shielding her face from flying debris she saw arcs of lightning leave its body, a look of worry flashed across her normally serious face when her eyes caught sight of Julius’s state of being. The arcs of lightening from before were not directed at anything in particular but they did ruin a few objects in its path of destruction. Eyes narrowing Ryuu made haste in reaching her students although she had to make sure not to get in the way of a now rampant familiar.

“Damn it all!” Ryuu watched as Akio made attempts to fight off one of the lesser demons. While Evangeline and Julius were nowhere to be seen, Where are they? Running over towards Akio, Ryuu drew out the two swords that rested at her sides. Sharing a look with her student Ryuu raised her swords, “Yamada I need you to go and find Evangeline and Julius. Julius didn’t seem to be in the best of conditions and Evangeline will need time to come up with a “Fatal Verse”. You need to protect them from the Lesser Demons so hurry” Ryuu had no idea as to where Aura went but hopefully the girl would be able to hold her own. Ryuu now alone stood before a rather large Lesser Demon, it was somewhat larger than a horse. The Lesser demon resembled a mutated ape with arms the size of barrels and curled horns protruding from its forehead. A snake-like tail whipped about behind it with barbs covering the surface.

The second Lesser demons was smaller than its companion, resembling a boar with huge spikes poking out of its back. The one thing that was different from the normal boar was that its legs were somewhat longer so the creature was as low to the ground as its animal counterpart. Taking on a fighting stance, Ryuu side stepped the barbed tail that was sent her way. At the same time she sliced at its thick hide with both her swords. However they did not have the same effect as she had hoped it would, the cut was shallow and only enraged the creature more so than when Evangeline had spoken those verses. Swinging its large fists Ryuu rolled out of the way, coughing on the dusty dirt that rose up from the ground as it caved in under the weight of its fists. Looking up she just barely managed to guard against the second lesser demons charge. Its sudden charge caught her off balance and she fell to her side however its sight was not set on her. Instead it ran past her and in the direction that Akio and the others had gone in. “Dammit!”

Ryuu quickly got back up and rushed after the boar. However the ape demon blocked her pathway with its large fists. It laughed in triumph and her obvious frustration as Ryuu turned her attention back towards it. Suddenly the creature’s tail snapped at her upper body, raising her swords to deflect it they cracked then splintered under the immense weight. In the end its tail reached its target and sent Ryuu flying right into the wall of one of the nearby buildings. Thankfully her swords had blunted the force behind the blow but Ryuu still coughed up blood as she stood back up on shaky feet. Wiping away the blood that streamed down the corners of her mouth, Ryuu discarded her now useless swords and rolled her shoulders. Pain blossomed around her chest and feeling around she pinpointed the location of what she guessed was a fractured rib.

To make matters worse the ground began to shake and rumble all around her. Suddenly a large serpentine head erupted from the ground not too far away from where she and Nathaniel had once stood watching their students. The newcomer was twice the size of the one she had just been fighting with and resembled a snake with horns curling around the sides of its head. “What! Goddammit it, who they hell summoned these things?” Her anger at the idea of a Tamer or a group of Tamers in this case summoned such strong familiars got the better of her. All she knew was that either they had been killed in action and were unable to dismiss their summons or they were the ones who had sent their familiars loose on the world. Ryuu wasn’t sure what Nathaniel was doing in all this chaos but at times like these even an Exorcist at her level needed help. “Nathaniel! Now would be a good time!” she called out to him wincing in the process.

Using the blood from before she formed a seal on the wall behind her all the while keeping her eyes on the demons that began to advance towards her. A look of anger mixed with determination in her eyes, words of power left her lips. “Come forth oh Demon Blade. Slash the evil before you with the darkest of blades” slamming her hand against the seal, her hand formed into a fist as it took hold of the hilt of a blade. Pulling it out of its storage, Ryuu held in her hand a katana nearly as long as she was tall with a blade the color of onyx.

The demon ape growled in what she guessed was fear at the sight of a Demon Blade. Letting loose a long held release of air, Ryuu breathed in and out to calm her mind. "Alright Chomesku, lets burn them to hell." A mean smile on her face Ryuu rushed forwards at the same time as the demon ape. The two clashed heads with Ryuu's sword giving her the advantage. Guessing from the fact that the demon snake hadn't attacked her, Ryuu assumed Nathaniel was dealing with it.

Amusement Park||Demon Boar

Meanwhile Ryuu and Nathaniel dealt with the demon ape and snake, the demon boar went after Akio, Julius and Evangeline. It snorted and yowled loudly, enough to alert its targets up ahead as it dashed straight for them. The demon boar swerved to the side only to pop up in front of them. It sqealed bloodlust raging in its eyes, pawing at the ground with its hooves, the demon boar stared right at Akio and his cane. In that moment it charged forwards right for Akio.
